Taillour; is a modern tailoring house founded by Fred Nieddu and Lee Rekert. The house is dedicated to intuitive design and creative thinking. Each piece is cut, made and finished by hand on–site, where tradition and craft meets modernity. This exceptional craftsmanship serves not only clientele worldwide but also the dynamic world of film.
The name Taillour derives from the Anglo-Norman word rooted in tailler — to cut or shape. The house approaches tailoring as a process of considered making, where proportion, construction and individual commission remain at the centre of each garment.
Based in Spitalfields, East London, Taillour operates across two spaces.
At 98 Commercial Street, our showroom and cutting room welcome clients for bespoke and atelier consultations. Nearby at 2 Pecks Yard, our in-house makers handcraft every bespoke garment within our dedicated workshop.

Alongside its private clientele, Taillour works with actors and costume designers across film and television, and hosts regular trunk shows throughout the United States and Europe.
The house is divided between bespoke and atelier. Together they form a continuous wardrobe, where tailoring and everyday dress are considered with the same attention to proportion, construction and longevity.
